Simple Success Strategies for 2017

A new calendar year always offers an opportunity for a variety of fresh starts. I have collected a few simple strategies that will help any agent or team overcome stumbling blocks and achieve success int he new year.

  1. Don’t procrastinate on your goals, talk about them, live them! – Ask yourself if you truly want to achieve your goals. This is important you success need your buy in. Once you believe, your team will believe and embody your goals, so write goals down, put them on a wall, make acknowledging these goals a part of your daily/weekly conversation.  The steps to achieve and accomplish those steps in a measured way each day, week, month! Don’t build in time to procrastinate. Just don’t do it.
  2. Delegate – Embrace your team. You have built a strong team of driven professionals, so don’t be an island. People who ask others for help not only achieve things more efficiently and curb the likelihood of burning out, they all build strong networks of likeminded individuals that push them to grow and experience new things. Your village will grow stronger and give you 110% once engaged.
  3. Working lunches – This is a simple one, but can be difficult for us more driven personality types. So be driven to cultivate a healthy working nurished brain that will continue to drive you forward. Your brain need proper nourishment to stay focused and moving forward. Take a simple break, for as little as 30 minutes. Taking a break from work related thoughts for a brief time can keep you more productive and focused.

We can all get stuck in our ways, but these few simple steps can create a framework for success and put you in the right path with focus and intention.

For those of you moving to Nashville and not familiar with the area, Hendersonville, Gallatin, and Sumner County is a great place to buy a home. Hendersonville is “Nashville’s Lake Community.” It’s not unusual to be at Kroger or Publix and see one of the Oak Ridge Boys or any number of Nashville celebrities picking up a few things at the end of the day.

In 1991, my husband Maury & I founded Mission Discovery, a ministry that helps youth and adults serve the poor here in the U.S. and abroad through short-term mission trips.

My mission is to make every home buying and selling experience a pleasant one.
